Square D-PowerLogic; LaVergne, TN (10/94-present)
- Staff Software Engineer. Responsible for various duties in the Design
Engineering organization of Square D -
Power Monitoring & Control [PMC] (aka PowerLogic), a brand of
Schneider Electric.
These include the development of the System Manager Software (SMS)
product family, which are Windows (2K, XP, Win2003) power quality management products for the
industrial community worldwide. Primary duties have included engineering team leadership/management, client-server international applications development using Visual C++/VS.NET, Internet applications development,
.NET development,
software project administration, and
CMMI level
accessment.

Opinion One; Cincinnati, OH (9/94-10/95)
- Consultant/Developer. Acted as a part-time consultant and developer for marketing
research applications that were used on the nationwide Opinion One network. Duties
included the handling of porting issues, documentation, and the development of custom
multimedia code for surveys.

Americom Research, Inc.; Wartrace, TN (11/92-9/94)
- Senior Software Engineer. Provided support for various projects within the
company's R&D organization. These projects included the development of a multimedia
library streamlined for the research community, and data retrieval/analysis support for a
nationwide research-based network.

Arnold Engineering & Development Center; Tullahoma, TN (3/91-11/92)
- Scientific Programmer/Analyst. Provided programming services to various clients
within the Engineering Applications organization of defense contractor OAO. Applications
included revisions of a light gas gun simulator and a heat conduction program to predict
steady state temperature distributions. Also aided in the design and implementation of a
multiplatform data retrieval system for F-22 test data, and developed a PC-based data
acquisition program for a specially designed robot. Work also included graphics
development for inlet contours in AEDC's ADS (Analysis and Display System). A secret
clearance was retained to perform job requirements.

ERC Scientists & Engineers; Nashville, TN (9/89-2/91)
- Computer Operator. Performed backup, executed batches, queries, and company
reports, assisted with data entry, and aided employees with system problems.

Middle Tennessee State University; Murfreesboro, TN (8/85-12/90)
- Computer Lab Assistant. Helped acquaint computer science students with the MTSU
systems, and also assisted them with programming and debugging problems.

Cumberland Caverns; McMinnville, TN (4/86-8/89)
- Tour Guide. Directed tours through the cave to various public groups, performed a
variety of maintenance tasks, and served as sales clerk when necessary.

- Extensive software development experience with FORTRAN 77, C, C++, Java and Visual C++. In particular, knowledgeable in the construction of international software (multi-language) on the Windows
platform. Web development experience includes HTML, XML,
VS.NET/C#, CGI, Java, and Microsoft IIS/ISAPI/Active Server. Work has
been accomplished on a variety of machine and network implementations, most of which were
designed for development of scientific applications. These include mainframes, supercomputers, and LANs consisting of workstations and PCs. Operating system exposure includes various

- Mathematics
- Mathematical skills include problem solving in the areas of numerical analysis,
calculus, statistical hypothesis testing, regression analysis, analysis of algorithms, and

- Remote sensing expertise includes the interpretation of aerial photographs, radar
