4L Code of Conduct

Approved by the 4L Executive Committee on April 14, 2007
Approved by the 4L Membership at the Annual Reunion on June 9, 2007

All members of Lance-Lantz-Lentz-Lence People, Inc. (4L) are expected to commit to the following standard of conduct & ethics within the organization:

1) To recognize & give proper credit to the work of all persons in the organization and those outside the organization who have advanced the 4L family heritage;

2) To avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest whenever possible, and to disclose them to those affected when they do exist;

3) To be honest & trustworthy in all organizational activities, including reporting of financial data;

4) To treat all persons with dignity and respect, and to not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, disability, or age;

5) To avoid harming others, their property, or their reputation by either false or malicious action.

A member who does not follow the code of conduct within the 4L organization is subject to disciplinary action as determined by the Executive Committee.
